Wes Lin

Wes Lin is the Human Resources Director at Alliance for Justice. In this role, he oversees all things Human Resources and people-related functions at the organization.

Since graduating from The Ohio State University the first time with a degree in Psychology, Wes has dedicated the majority of his career to working in the nonprofit space — first as a child welfare caseworker, then as an intern for a global library science and technology nonprofit when he returned to The Ohio State University to pursue his MA in Labor and Human Resources at the Fisher College of Business, and then by working with smaller nonprofits both in-house and as a consultant.

Throughout his career, Wes has learned and developed ways to best shape organizational culture, processes, and policies so that the organizations’ people have everything they need to be empowered to be their best selves and help change the world for the better.

Wes is based in his hometown of Washington, D.C., where he and his fiancé moonlight as zookeepers, herding their mini sheepadoodle son, Ludi; their tuxetortico cat daughter, Ayla; and their void cat son, Koa.
