Monika Graham
Bilingual Senior Counsel
Monika Graham serves as Senior Counsel for the Bolder Advocacy Program at the Alliance for Justice, where she equips nonprofit organizations to engage in advocacy effectively and confidently.
She holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from St. Edward’s University (2007) and a J.D. from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law (2017).
Prior to joining AFJ, Monika fiercely advocated for the rights of immigrant children as a Staff Attorney at RAICES, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, and the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights. She also has experience as an Assistant District Attorney and practiced probate and guardianship law.
With a deep commitment to justice and an unwavering belief in the power of community, Monika brings both legal expertise and a passion for activism, resistance, and systemic change.
