Kem Chatfield

Kem is a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where he was a Toll Public Interest Scholar and Skadden Youth Advocacy Scholar. His experiences working with students from underserved communities inspired his pursuit of a legal career focused on addressing the systemic barriers that shape educational and economic opportunity. Kem joined AFJ in September 2026 as a Dorot Fellow, supporting the work of the federal courts team.
