Biography
Clarke received a B.S. in Psychology from Liberty University and a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Legal Experience
From 2007 through 2009, Clarke clerked for the North Carolina Court of Appeals. From 2009 to 2014, she served in various counsel roles on Capitol Hill, including with the House Committee on Ethics and the House Select Committee on Benghazi. She also served as staff director for the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform from 2017 to 2019. From 2019 to 2021, Clarke was “of counsel” to Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, serving as a member of the white-collar defense and government investigations team. She worked as an Assistant United States Attorney from 2021 to 2024 and most recently returned to Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough.
