Biography
Osete received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.
Legal Experience
After law school, Osete clerked for Judge Bobby Shepherd of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and Chief Justice Zel Fischer of the Supreme Court of Missouri. He later served in the Missouri Attorney General’s Office as Deputy Solicitor General and Deputy Attorney General. Osete subsequently served as General Counsel to the Missouri Secretary of State. He currently serves in the Trump Administration as Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division.
