On August 18, 2026, President Trump nominated Brad Kelley to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. 


Biography 

Kelley received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 2006, and his J.D. from Louisiana State University in 2013.


Legal Experience

Kelley began his legal career clerking for Donald Walter of the U.S. Western District of Louisiana. He then went on to join the U.S. Department of Labor where he served as a senior policy advisor. In 2020, Kelley began his position as chief counsel to Commissioner Keith Sonderling at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). He currently works as the Co-Chair of the AI & Technology Practice Group at the law firm Littler, where he has been working since 2023.
