Betsy Miller Kittredge

Betsy Miller Kittredge (she/her/hers) brings deep experience in the progressive movement and a lifelong commitment to social justice to the Alliance for Justice. Prior to joining AFJ, she was the SVP of Human Resources and Operations at EveryAction (now named Bonterra), a company that helps thousands of nonprofits with fundraising, advocacy, volunteer management, and more. Her career also includes overseeing finance, operations, and communications as Managing Director at the Partnership for Working Families (now called PowerSwitch Action), creating and managing the online communications team for the U.S. House Committee on Education and Labor, leading research teams at the DNC and the AFL-CIO, and serving as both Research Director and Operations Director at the Carol/Trevelyan Strategy Group, an early provider of online fundraising and advocacy tools to nonprofits and advocacy organizations. Betsy holds an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in political science and magazine journalism from Syracuse University. She is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
