We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date of the latest revision will be listed at the bottom of the Policy. We encourage you to check this page each time you visit one of our websites so that you will know if the Policy has changed since you last visited the site. Collection of Personal Information
We do not collect personally identifiable information about individual users unless a user voluntarily provides such information to us. We store any information that you provide, such as your name, mailing address or email address, using secure servers. We may share your information with third party vendors who use your information for the sole purpose of fulfilling your request (e.g., charging your donation). Each of our vendors has agreed to keep your information confidential from disclosure to others. We may also share your information within our family of organizations (Alliance for Justice and Alliance for Justice Action Campaign). In addition, we will cooperate with law enforcement, which may include disclosing some of your personal information if necessary. We will never sell any of your personal information to any third party. And we will never post any of your personal information online without your consent.
Use of Cookies
“Cookies” are small text files that facilitate a user’s access to and use of a website and allow a website operator to track usage and behavior with respect to its sites. We use cookies that automatically collect certain non-personal information about visitors to our websites, such as the browser and type of computer you are using, the website that referred you to us, the pages you view and the date and time that you view those pages. We collect this information on an aggregate basis, which allows us to improve our websites to make them more useful to our users. We do not use any of this information on an individual basis.
Protecting Children’s Privacy
We are concerned about the safety and privacy of children online. Therefore, we do not and will not knowingly contact or collect personal information from children under 13. Our site is not intended to solicit information of any kind from children under 13. It remains possible, however, that we may receive information given to us by or pertaining to children under 13. If we are notified of this, as soon as we verify the information, we will promptly either obtain parental consent or delete the information from our servers. If you want to notify us of our receipt of information by or about any child under 13, please email us at alliance@afj.org.
Security
You may be able to purchase items or donate money via our websites. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect the transmission of information you submit to us via our secure forms. All online financial transactions are processed through a secure window hosted by Verisign, a leading provider of digital trust services and transactions. We do not retain, share or use any of your financial information for any purpose other than to process your payment. We have security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information within our control. Only employees with a need to know certain information to perform a specific task are granted access to personally identifiable information of our users. In addition, the servers that store sensitive information are kept in a secure environment.

Staff with access to donor data is educated and informed about the responsibility to follow appropriate protocols to protect donor data.
Event Photography and Video Recordings
We frequently take photos and record audio and/or video in public areas of our events. If so, we may make and store photographs and/or videos containing your likeness and recordings of your voice and likeness. We may use, edit, copy, publish, or distribute photos and audio or video recording for any purpose relating to the event itself or AFJ’s work in general.

Technology Security
AFJ has become increasingly dependent on electronic collaboration technologies, and high speed and real-time communications systems. While these technologies offer new efficiencies and work enhancements, they also require greater focus on security.
AFJ is committed to investing in and maintaining a secure communications environment that offers broad access to information, ensures confidentiality, protects sensitive information and intellectual property, and provides data security.
