Maureen O’Leary

Maureen (she/her) serves as the Senior Manager of Outreach and Membership at Alliance for Justice.

A cradle Episcopalian from small-town Indiana, Maureen’s organizing journey began with grassroots efforts to halt the Dakota Access Pipeline. She earned a B.S. in Political Science from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Before relocating to Washington, D.C., she completed an AmeriCorps VISTA year of service with Honolulu Habitat for Humanity. Most recently, Maureen served as Senior Director of Field & Organizing at Interfaith Alliance, where she led efforts to build a national network of affiliates, partner organizations, and faith leaders advocating for an inclusive vision of religious freedom.

In her free time, Maureen enjoys hiking and camping with her dog, Seamus, exploring various art projects, and singing in her church choir.
