Lilah Drafts-Johnson
Senior Development Associate
Lilah joined Alliance for Justice as a Senior Development Associate in October of 2024 where she supports AFJ’s leadership and development team in fundraising, donor cultivation, and administration aligned with its mission and strategic plan. Prior to joining the organization, Lilah assisted in the planning, marketing, and execution of the 2024 Project Play Summit, the signature event of the Aspen Institute Sports and Society Program, and was the co-founder of the Voices Against Violence Coffeehouse, an annual community event and fundraiser for the Melrose Alliance Against Violence in her home state of Massachusetts. She previously worked as a Senior Coordinator of Player Programs at the Commissioner’s Office of Major League Baseball where she led bilingual education and prevention efforts to support the league-wide domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse policy.
A graduate of Oberlin College, Lilah holds a BA in Politics & Latin American Studies and earned her master’s from the University of Maryland, College Park in Kinesiology and Physical Cultural Studies. In her free time, she enjoys dabbling in various creative mediums and practicing yoga.
