Trump’s “Gruesome” SCOTUS Death Watch

Washington, D.C., October 16, 2017  – In response to reports that President Trump is predicting the deaths of both Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Justice Sonia Sotomayor during his term, and his resulting opportunity to name up to four Supreme Court justices, Alliance for Justice President Nan Aron released the following statement:

“Just when you think President Trump could show no more disregard for the federal judiciary than he already has, he mentions this gruesome death watch regarding two esteemed Supreme Court justices. Words like ‘inappropriate’ don’t begin to describe the level of cruelty and disrespect evidenced in these remarks. If these remarks are accurate as reported, President Trump owes an immediate apology to the justices and the American people.”
