On September 30, 2020, Alliance for Justice was joined by Bradley Whitford, Senator Sherrod Brown, NBC Analyst Heather McGhee, and former U.S. Attorneys Preet Bharara and Joyce Vance, along with some of our biggest supporters, to celebrate our mission.
The event opened with a video about the fight ahead, narrated by Bradley Whitford.
Our president, Nan Aron then spoke about the importance of the Supreme Court and Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s legacy.
Following that, there was an inspiring conversation between Heather McGhee and Senator Sherrod Brown, touching on all aspects of the courts and good government — including a look at racial inequality during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Richard Salomon then introduced the conversation between Joyce Vance and Preet Bharara who drew on their experience at the Department of Justice and talked about the courts, Bill Barr, the sanctity of our elections, and much more.
Bradley Whitford then closed the show.
