Bolder Advocacy Draws Inspiration from Beatriz Solis

Our colleague and friend Beatriz Solis passed away recently after a long battle with cancer. She left us far too soon and we join with her loved ones, her colleagues at The California Endowment, and many, many others who mourn this tragic loss. She was a true believer in people’s power to drive change and a visionary who worked tirelessly to make that a reality. Her legacy is the empowerment of marginalized people who help themselves, each other, and their communities.

Bea was an anchor for Alliance for Justice’s work in California for a decade. Her memory inspires us as we support nonprofits throughout the state to advocate boldly with and for their communities toward the goal of health equity for all.
