Shannon Williams
Director of Bolder Advocacy Operations and Evaluation
Shannon Williams (she/her) is the Director of Bolder Advocacy Operations and Evaluation. In her role, she works collaboratively across the organization to ensure continuity of day-to-day programmatic operations and guide sustainable program growth. She also oversees Bolder Advocacy’s evaluation work, leading internal efforts to document program impact in addition to providing training and technical assistance about advocacy evaluation for nonprofits and funders.
Prior to joining Alliance for Justice in 2019 as the incoming Evaluation Manager for the Bolder Advocacy program, Shannon was the Research Manager at Rebuilding Together’s national office. In this role, she spearheaded efforts to launch a multi-year, multi-phase outcome evaluation plan, as well as maintained oversight of data collection, management, analysis, and reporting efforts across a network of 130 affiliate organizations. Shannon holds a M.A. in Ethics, Peace and Global Affairs from American University, a LL.M. in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany, as well as a B.A. in Philosophy from Hood College.
