Every person deserves a fair shot at justice, but forced arbitration robs consumers, workers, and small businesses of their ability to properly enforce fundamental legal rights and to hold corporations publicly accountable for sexual harassment, wage theft, discrimination, unsafe working conditions, and other wrongdoings.
This request for documents is a critically important step toward fleshing out the woefully inadequate record of Brett Kavanaugh’s career that Senate Republicans insisted was enough to confirm him. Alliance for Justice and many rights organizations have consistently called for these records to be provided, and we applaud Chairman Nadler and Subcommittee Chairman Hank Johnson for their action.
